Training course reveals secrets for business success
Press Release
Punch Pub Company is launching a new marketing and innovation workshop for lessees and tenants intent on growing their businesses.

Almost 100 licensees have already registered for the eX! Factor programme, which promises to reveal powerful business and wealth building strategies.

These include the top ten business multipliers, how optimisation can achieve maximum results from minimal investment, and the only three proven ways to grow a business.

Carlsberg-Tetley is backing the scheme and its sponsorship money will fund course materials and help subsidise overnight accommodation for delegates.

Stephen Gould, Punch Pub Company’s director of recruitment and training, said: “This is the most powerful business building seminar we have ever devised for our licensees and, as the name suggests, it offers something extra compared to other training schemes.

“The workshops are filled with ideas that will help fuel business growth and are perfect for those operators who feel their pub needs a kick start in order to achieve its full potential.”

Sammy Lloyd, Punch’s training and development manager and course tutor for the eX! Factor programme, added: “The uptake so far has been excellent and we have workshops scheduled across the country from now until the end of November. We are confident delegates will find the training invaluable.”

Kate George, joint licensee at the Crown and Anchor in Old Woking, Surrey, took part in a workshop held in Guildford.

She said: “The course was fantastic – very well organised and thought out. There was a great mix of delegates, including people fairly new to the trade such as myself and others with years of experience.

“I came away from each session with lots of ideas for profit building which I have shared and discussed with my staff at the pub. Already we are seeing increased footfall and customers are also spending more per head.”
