Punch Taverns unveils new corporate identity
Press Release

Punch Taverns has launched a new corporate identity designed to reflect the company’s dynamic and forward thinking aspirations for the future of the business.

The company will now globally use the name Punch Taverns for all areas of the business - having previously used Punch Taverns for its listing on the stock exchange and Punch Pub Company within the trade.

Burton based Punch also has a new logo and a set of corporate guidelines for use in all literature, including advertisements, leaflets, brochures and stationery.

These have been introduced to provide a framework so that Punch’s identity is consistently reflected throughout the many markets in which the company operates.

Giles Thorley, Punch Taverns’ chief executive, said:

“For the past few years we have been known as both Punch Taverns and Punch Pub Company - and more recently with the Pubmaster acquisition have also incorporated its name into our communications as well.

“With full integration of the Pubmaster estate now complete, we felt the time was right to move away from having different trading names and unveil our new corporate identity which will be used across the business.

“This reflects that we are a professional organisation, consistently aiming for excellence across all areas of our operations. It also means we are one collective voice within the industry.”

As part of the new image, Punch Taverns has also updated its mission statement, which is ‘helping retailers build better businesses’.

Giles Thorley added: “Helping our 7,400 retailers do well in their businesses is integral to our success. We do not succeed unless our retailers do - and the mission statement and new identity reflects our commitment to help them fulfil their business goals.”
