Punch gives warm welcome to new retailers

Punch Taverns has officially welcomed all former Pubmaster retailers to its estate with a new Welcome Pack – a comprehensive guide to how the company works.

More than 3,000 retailers have received the pack, containing practical advice and information on Punch as well as the business support it provides.

Included in the Welcome Pack is a guide to what help is available for retailers to ensure the successful day to day running of their pubs – such as marketing and business support, agreements, awards, training and communications.

It also highlights how to access this support, with a great emphasis on Punch’s dedicated customer services frontline team which is the main point of contact for enquiries.

Francis Patton, Punch Taverns’ customer services director, said: “Fundamental to the integration process since our acquisition of Pubmaster has been the retailers – and our commitment to helping them build better businesses.

“The Welcome Pack is a comprehensive guide specifically designed for former Pubmaster retailers, outlining the services we offer and how they can be accessed with reference to our frontline team which is a fantastic point of contact for any queries.

“It also underlines how delighted we are to welcome the retailers to our estate – and look forward to forging successful partnerships with them.”

One of the retailers to have received a Welcome Pack is Jean Senior, who runs the Case is Altered, a community local in the village of Bentley, near Ipswich.

Jean said: “The Welcome Pack contains everything I need to know about Punch and how the company can help me with my business.

“It’s a nice way to be officially welcomed and shows Punch’s commitment to helping me – I’m really looking forward to developing my business with them in the coming months.

“The pack contains lots of useful information, both from a technical side such as retailer agreements and insurance, to how to market my pub and increase sales through machines.

“It provides an excellent platform from which I aim to build a really successful partnership with Punch.”
